Superweapon
About
World-class acoustics, built on community.
Superweapon is a community studio built for people who take their work seriously. We’ve built a proper monitoring environment, with acoustics designed to translate beyond the room, and a membership model that gives you the time and freedom to do your best work.
Rather than paying punishing hourly rates or watching the clock, members pay a flat monthly fee and book time through a shared calendar. Whether you need a closed session to focus or an open slot to work alongside other local creatives, the space is yours to use in a way that suits your process.
Superweapon was built from scratch by local musicians, producers and collaborators who wanted a better way to work. We spent years obsessing over the details, from the listening environment to how the studio operates, with one idea at the heart of it: great facilities should be accessible without losing sight of the people who use them.
We’ve grown entirely through word of mouth, and we’d like to keep it that way: local, friendly and community-focused. We think the best way to understand Superweapon is to experience it for yourself, meet the people who use it and have a chat.

Your sessions
How booking works
Credits: Off-peak hours cost 1 credit an hour. Peak hours (weekdays after 18:00, and all weekend) cost 2. CLOSED sessions cost 1.5 times as much.
Fair use: To keep calendar time generous for everyone, members can hold up to 2 upcoming sessions at a time, with a maximum of 1 CLOSED session during peak hours.
Cancellation: Plans change. Cancel any session at least 4 hours before it starts to get your credits refunded.
House rules: Leave the room tidy 10 minutes before the next session, and give the group chat a heads-up if you’re running late.
Mixing & mastering
Mixing & mastering: how it works
The steps
- Tell us about the track using the Get in touch button, with a link to your files.
- We reply with a quote and a turnaround time.
- You send the files and pay.
- You get a first version to listen to.
- Revisions, then final files delivered.
What to send
- Mixing: all stems or tracks as WAV (24-bit), all starting at the same point, with no master bus processing.
- Mastering: your final mix as a WAV, with headroom (peaks around -3 dB).
- A reference track or two, and any notes on what you want.
